PDS inaugurates newly established washing plant at Adamjee EPZ in Narayanganj

Desk Report: The Vice Chairman of PDS Limited Pallak Seth along with the Group CEO Sanjay Jain have inaugurated their newly established Washing Plant in the presence of Tolker Soleyman, Buyer Representative, Rajeev Dubey, CEO of Progress Apparels Bangladesh Limited and his team on 9th January 2023.

It was the first time the Good Fashion Fund (GFF) in Bangladesh financed a green and sustainable project, reads a press release. The washing plant is neatly set up and well decorated with modern machinery that belongs to YILMAK which is a 100% Turkish technology.

Progress Apparels Bangladesh Limited has taken pride in contributing to the tag of “Made in Bangladesh” which is situated at Adamjee EPZ in Narayanganj, and exports 100% oven garments in Europe, the UK, and the USA.  At present, the factory has around 4000 workers and staff.

On the same day, Pallak Seth- Vice Chairman of PDS Limited unveiled the Employee Handbook which will guide employees in-depth on Policy and Procedures. 

To celebrate this Inauguration of the Washing Unit, Factory Management shared different gifts with 100% of employees and exchanged good discussions with workers and staff.
