PEPE JEANS, TOM FORD & MAX MARA ranked as least transparent fashion brands

Max Mara Pepe Jeans and Tom Ford are among the least open fashion brands in the field of knowledge on their supply chain that has made very little improvement in the industry, as a recent index released by Fashion Revolution. According to how much detail they have on their social and environmental strategies, activities and performances, Fashion Revolution’s annual Index has listed 250 of the largest brands in the world.

H&M, C&A, Adidas, Reebok and Esprit have dominated the ranking, with at least 10 brands scoring zero points, including Max Mara, Pepe jeans and Tom Ford. On the basis of 220 metrics including working conditions, minimum wages, forced labor, transparency and procurement practices, the index assessed brands earned an average score of 23%, up from 2% last year.
