The edition that has just come to a close at Paris Nord Villepinte confirms the repositioning undertaken over the past two seasons: Première Vision Paris is becoming a meeting point where the textile and fashion industries come together to exchange ideas, connect and make decisions, as much as to source, with one constant objective: driving business development for exhibitors.

A VISITOR PROFILE REFOCUSED ON CREATIVITY AND VALUE
The most significant shift in this edition has been the consolidation of the visitor base around the key players who determine a product’s value. Fashion houses, designers and luxury brands were up 19% compared with September 2025, while retail companies increased by 30%. Influencers, trend agencies and agents whose expertise subsequently shapes dozens of collections each gained more than 10 percentage points. Commercial functions followed the same upward trend. A trade show that attracts a growing share of designers and influencers strengthens its influence over the season being shaped.
This rise in value is underpinned by a strengthened international presence: six out of ten visitors came from abroad, with the Italian, German and Swiss industrial hubs gaining ground alongside Turkey and India. It also reflects the show’s growing role in the institutional sphere: European textile federations met for the second consecutive year under the auspices of Euratex, in the presence of Valère Moutarlier, Deputy Director-General for “European Industry and Decarbonisation” at the European Commission, and French members of parliament. Sébastien Martin, Minister responsible for Industry, addressed attendees via video message. One year on, the declaration signed at the show has produced its first regulatory impact with the introduction of European taxation on small parcels: what is discussed and developed at Première Vision Paris helps shape the framework within which the industry will operate tomorrow.
THE PROGRAMME HAS BECOME A REASON TO ATTEND
Talks, pitches and guided tours attracted the equivalent of one third of the visitor base. Visitors come looking for market insights before making their choices. From the forum to matchmaking initiatives, every feature deployed beyond material sourcing ultimately supports exhibitors’ order books. The interest expressed in beauty demonstrates that this demand extends beyond textiles.
A UNIQUE POSITIONING ON THE INTERNATIONAL STAGE
The 459 brands considered most strategic to the industry attended with more than three employees each, a clear sign of team-based, carefully planned visits. No other international materials trade show brings together the entire value chain, forward-looking programming, a space for institutional dialogue and an openness to neighbouring industries. Beyond any particular territory or product category, this distinction can be seen in the very composition of the visitor base.
Florence Rousson, Managing Director of GL events’ Fashion Division: “More fashion houses, influencers and retailers attended, and one third of our visitors took part in our programme. We have become the place where the industry comes together, gathers information and makes decisions. Everything we build serves the same objective: supporting the industry in its transition towards a creative, sustainable and profitable model.”
