PRIMARK meets with Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA)

The PRIMARK team recently visited Bangladesh to not only enhance business opportunities but also promote sustainable development and ethical practices in the garment industry as well as the other industries.

The delegation included the CEO, Head of Sourcing, Country Lead, Ethical and Legal Directors, and the Director of the ABF.

During their visit, they met with notable figures of the country such as Mr Salman F Rahman MP-Private Industry and Investment Advisor to the Honorable Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Mr Shahriar Alam MP-The State Minister of foreign relations for government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Mr Lokman Hossain Miah-Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), Mr Mohammad Hatem-Executive President of The Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA), Mr Miran Ali-Vice President of The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), Mr Mansoor Ahmed-Senior Vice President of The Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA), and Mr Sayem Ahmed-Chairman of The Dutch Bangla Bank Limited at the BIDA headquarter in Dhaka.

It was a privilege to be present among such esteemed individuals from both the government and private sectors, discussing opportunities for business growth and sustainable development. It’s inspiring to see how industries and countries can come together to collaborate and grow.
