Prof. Dr. Shah Alimuzzaman, head of the Department of Fabric Engineering, Bangladesh University of Textiles (Butex), has been given the responsibility of Registrar of the Butex. He will perform this post in addition to his own responsibilities. This was informed in an office order of Butex on Wednesday. It further said that he will get allowance and other benefits related to the post as per the rules of the university.
Prof. Md. Monirul Islam, Dean of the Faculty of Textile Management and Business Studies of Butex, who has been acting as the Registrar of Butex will retire on Thursday (December 31).
