This World Environment Day, we are proud to acknowledge Purbani Group as our Shoreline Supporter for Plastic-Free Kuakata 2026. For over five decades, Purbani Group has been a major name in Bangladesh’s textile and garment sector, having grown into one of the country’s established 100% export-oriented textile conglomerates since 1973. Their journey shows how industrial growth can advance with responsibility, ethical production, and environmental stewardship.

Purbani Group’s sustainability direction focuses on minimizing environmental impact, promoting responsible sourcing, adopting eco-conscious practices, and contributing positively to the environment and the communities where it operates. That vision aligns deeply with our mission at Plastic-Free Kuakata 2026, protecting nature through responsible action.
Their role as Shoreline Supporter is a meaningful extension of that philosophy, showing how an industrial manufacturing leader can support real, visible, on-ground environmental change. With 500–600 youth volunteers joining the movement, Plastic-Free Kuakata 2026 will go beyond a regular clean-up. We will collect, sort, and document coastal plastic waste, raise community awareness, and inspire long-term behavior change to keep our coastline cleaner.
When corporate responsibility meets passionate youth mobilization, the impact becomes powerful. Purbani Group is not just supporting a cleaner beach; they are helping protect marine biodiversity, support local fishing livelihoods, and secure a better tomorrow for Kuakata.
Our heartfelt gratitude to the management and the entire Purbani Group family for standing with our coastline as a Shoreline Supporter. Together, we are showing how industrial leadership, corporate responsibility, and youth action can shape a cleaner, more sustainable Bangladesh.
