In line with Purbani Group’s ongoing commitment to excellence, community development, and sustainable industrial growth, the company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT).
The partnership reinforces Purbani’s CSR vision and supports Bangladesh’s Sustainable Development Goals by fostering stronger cooperation between the textile industry and academic institutions. Under the agreement, Purbani will share industry insights to help BUFT enhance its curriculum, provide factory visits and internship opportunities, and support employment pathways for BUFT graduates. The collaboration also includes technical knowledge exchange, joint research initiatives, and specialized training programs for Purbani employees through BUFT’s facilities and faculty.
The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from BUFT, along with Director of Purbani Group Mr. Zakaria H. Sarker Farhan, Executive Director Mr. Masum Biswas, and Head of Corporate HR Mr. Hasan Rahman.
Purbani Group stated that it looks forward to developing future-ready talent and contributing to a more resilient and sustainable textile sector for Bangladesh through this strategic partnership.
