Desk Report: Bangladesh based one of the sustainable apparel manufacturer and exporter Quattro Fashion Ltd is the latest venture of Fortis Group achieves the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum Certificate from the US Green Building Council (USGBC).
Quattro Fashion Ltd awarded LEED Platinum Certification for achieving optimum score 86 out of 100. Previously KA Design Ltd sister concern of Fortis Group is recognized as ‘LEED Platinum’ rated green factory with 82 scores by the U.S. Green Building Council.(USGBC).
Quattro Fashion Ltd achieved LEED certification for implementing practical and measurable strategies and solutions aimed at achieving high performance in: Location and Transportation, sustainable site development, water efficiency ,energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, Indoor environmental quality and Innovation.

According to the BGMEA, Bangladesh now 69 Platinum, top 8 factories out of first 10 in the world and top 54 factories out of first 100 Bangladesh RMG industry has now total 195 LEED certified factories.
