RUDOLF appoints Marcos Furrer as CEO, Dr Gunter Duschek as CTOO and Dr Oliver Kusterle as CSO – Dr Wolfgang A. Schumann becomes Chairman of the Board of Directors

Geretsried, 16 December 2025 – RUDOLF, a leading global medium-sized specialty chemical company, is adopting a new management structure at the beginning of 2025 to accelerate the implementation of its strategic goals.

RUDOLF is dedicated to further solidifying its international market position and sustainably enhancing its innovative capabilities in an increasingly dynamic competitive landscape.

Global Strategy, Local Execution

The company’s reorganization underscores its commitment to remaining a leader in the speciality chemical industry while making sustainable contributions to the textile, construction, paper, and coating additives sectors.

Management Restructuring

Effective January 2025, RUDOLF will introduce a new management structure. Mr. Wolfgang Schumann and Dr. Wolfgang A. Schumann will assume the role of Co-Chairs of the newly established Board of Directors. As part of this transition, Dr. Schumann will focus on developing strategically important markets in Asia to strengthen the company’s position in the region.

Reflecting on the transition, Dr. Schumann stated:

Leadership Transition

Marcos Furrer has been appointed as the new CEO of the RUDOLF Group and will also take on the role of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). His extensive experience in the specialty chemicals industry and strategic acumen make him well-suited to drive RUDOLF’s global vision.

Furrer shared his enthusiasm for the role:
