Sapphire Textile Mills has purchased Autocoro 11 Gold

At ITMA Asia 2025, Sapphire Textile Mills Ltd, Pakistan, sealed the purchase of a new, fully automatic Autocoro 11 rotor spinning machine — a milestone in rotor spinning thanks to its cost-effectiveness, energy savings, automation, and outstanding performance when spinning recycled fibres. With the limited Autocoro 11 Gold edition, Sapphire gets a machine with golden Doffing Cleaning Units and several additional features.

Mr Nadeem Abdullah, CEO of Sapphire Textile Mills Ltd, states: “The Autocoro 11 fits perfectly with our corporate strategies and meets several requirements at once. It increases productivity, reduces energy and process costs, and makes our recycling programme even more efficient. We are achieving a new level of sustainability while becoming more economical at the same time.”

Sapphire Textile Mills Ltd. – founded in 1969 – is a vertically integrated textile group with a strong focus on innovation and sustainability with a high production capacity. Sapphire produces around 54,000 tonnes of yarn, 84 million metres of fabric, and a wide range of home textiles and workwear every year. A big part of these textle products contain recycled fibres produced in the company’s own mechanical recycling plant, which has an annual capacity of 5,000 tonnes. Sapphire Textile Mills continuously invests in automated, cutting-edge technologies.
