A delegation from Switzerland-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SBCCI) led by its President Engr. Abdur Rashid met the new President of FBCCI Mr. Mahbubul Alam. Swiss foreign Direct Investments have made a huge contribution towards the economic development of Bangladesh said by Mahbubul Alam.
Engr. Abdur Rashid who is also Country Manager of SGS Bangladesh ltd. emphasized on the presence of Swiss technologies in machinery, watch, chemical, cement, pharmaceutical and other industries.
Secretary General of SBCCI and Director of Clarichem Ltd. Saad Omar Fahim emphasized on the importance of joint collaboration between FBCCI and SBCCI to take the economy of Bangladesh to a new height. The rest of the Executive members who were present in the meeting were Mr. Abul Hasnat (CEO of Swiss Elegance), Mr. Sontosh Chandra Nath (MD of Alpha Vision Limited) and Coordinator of SBCCI Mr. Mohammad Mohi Uddin Bhuiyan.
