Recently department of Textile Engineering, Northern University Bangladesh organized a seminar on “Apparel Merchandising is a Challenging Profession”. Ms. Shwapan Bhowmich, Country Manager, Marks & Spencer were present as guest speaker. She described the application of Archroma textile auxiliaries for kitted and woven fabric. He shared his experience on different aspects, challenges, responsibilities and facts of apparel merchandising. Prof. Dr. Abu Yousuf Md Abdullah, Chairman, NUB Trust was present as chief guest while Prof. Dr. Anwarul Karim, Pro-Vice Chancellor, NUB; Prof. Dr. Musharraf M. Hussain, Treasurer In Charge, NUB; Prof. Dr. Engr. Md. Humaun Kabir, Dean, Faculty of Science & Engineering and Head, Department of Textile Engineering, NUB were present as special guest. The session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Anwar Hossain, Vice Chancellor, NUB. Students participated in the interactive question and answer session to know more about the facts of apparel merchandising.
