The TECN Career Club of Textile Engineering College, Noakhali (TECN) has announced its Executive Committee for the 2026–2027 session, appointing a new leadership team to steer the club’s activities aimed at enhancing students’ professional skills, leadership capabilities, and industry engagement.
According to the committee announcement released on June 30, Shibli Shadik Shiyam has been named President, while Shorov Kanti Das will serve as General Secretary. Redwan Tarek has been appointed Vice President (Internal Affairs) and Rowshon Jamil Chowdhury will serve as Vice President (External Affairs).
The committee will operate under the guidance of Engr. Md. Abdur Rokib, Principal of TECN, who will serve as the Chief Advisor. Md. Mahmudul Hoque, Chief Instructor, and Engr. Padma Kishore Dey, Assistant Professor (Technical), have been appointed as Advisors, while Md. Zakaria Alam Jiku, Lecturer (Technical), will serve as the Special Advisor.
Among the other office bearers, Mehedi Hasan, Azmain-Ul-Hassan, and Partha Prateem Dey have been appointed as Organizing Secretaries. Md. Murad Hasan and Md. Nishat Raihan will serve as Finance & Logistics Secretaries, while Md. Burhan Uddin Nafis has been named Program Operations Secretary.
In the External Affairs wing, A M Mehedi Hassan and Robiul Islam Robi have been appointed as Planning & Development Secretaries. Tapu Das will serve as Public Affairs, Communication & Corporate Relations Secretary, while Mijanur Rahaman has been appointed Creative Affairs & Content Secretary.
Expressing his expectations for the newly formed committee, Chief Advisor Engr. Md. Abdur Rokib said, “I hope everyone taking on new responsibilities will demonstrate the highest standard of their work and set an example for others.”
Former President Akib Ibna Salauddin Bhuyan also congratulated the new committee, saying, “My best wishes to the members of the new committee. I believe the club’s activities will move forward with even greater momentum under their leadership.”
The newly elected committee is expected to lead initiatives focused on career development, leadership training, skill enhancement, industry collaboration, and professional networking, further strengthening the club’s role in preparing students for the evolving demands of the textile and apparel industry.
