The SWG®091N2 compact WHOLEGARMENT® knitting machine can produce a wide range of items in their entirety, without the need for linking or sewing. The SWG®-N2 series “Mini” range is ideal for creating small knit products and accessories such as gloves, socks, hats, scarves, pet wear, cozies, shoe uppers, bags, card cases, glasses cases, and smartphone covers. KnitPaint is a trusted software solution used by knitting companies worldwide to create knitting data for SHIMA SEIKI computerized flat knitting machines. Previously available only within the SDS®-ONE APEX all-in-one design system, the new SDS® KnitPaint-Online version is now offered as standalone software. It retains the same familiar KnitPaint functions while introducing enhanced planning and design capabilities.
APEXFiz®
APEXFiz®, SHIMA SEIKI’s subscription-based design software, supports every stage of the creative process—from concept planning and design to colorway evaluation, realistic fabric simulation, and 3D virtual sampling.
These virtual samples serve as accurate digital prototypes, effectively replacing physical samples to save time, cost, and materials. Once a design is approved, the system automatically generates knitting data that can be easily converted to machine data, enabling seamless communication between the design studio and production floor.
Additionally, the same virtual samples can be used for e-commerce and retail applications to test consumer interest before production, promoting on-demand manufacturing and reducing deadstock waste.
