SIPEAA launches ‘Good to Great, Season -1’ to develop leadership skills

Desk Report: SIPEAA — the Alumni of Industrial and Production Engineering Department of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology has launched ‘Good to Great, Season -1’ for leaders of different industrial sectors on 26 August at Tagore University of Creative Arts in the capital.

The purpose of the series of leadership training session is to develop future leadership skills across the community.50 Top Managements and Senior Managers from different apparel brands, RMG factories and Electronic industries joined this interactive session. Every season will come with different industry leaders and share different stories of failures and success throughout their career.

Shafiur Rahman, Country Manager, G-Star Raw shared his views on, ‘Values of life and Art of prioritization’. Md. Matiur Rahman Robin, Director, Essential Clothing Limited shared his views on, ‘Managing negativity & emotional intelligence’ for managers and leaders.

SIPEAA President, Anis Ansari, General Manager, Vertex RMG Division shared his views on, ‘Managing Ego & dealing with multiple generations in the workplace’ where he focused on balancing IQ, EQ, SQ and AQ in the workplace.

SPEAA General Secretary, S M Shahin, CEO, Trouser Line Limited shared his views on ‘Situational leadership & work delegations’. This alumni get together followed by dinner and live music.
