Six graduates from NITER have been selected for Chinese Government Scholarship in 2020-21 session

Six NITER graduates have got the most prestigious scholarship in china Where four will be admitted in Wuhan Textile University  & two will be admitted in Tiangong University, China. This is another excellent achievement of NITER. Chinese Government Scholarship is a fully-funded scholarship. This scholarship is offered by the Chinese government to study at more than 280 Chinese Universities. CSC Scholarship covers registration fees, Tuition fees, Accommodation fees, Basic medical insurance and a monthly allowance for personal expenses (between 3000 and 3,500 Yuan per month, approximately 430 and 500 USD respectively). 

National Institute of Textile Engineering and Research, also known as NITER. It is one of the largest textile engineering campus in Bangladesh. The institute has a partnership between the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA) and the Ministry of Textiles and Jute, Govt. of Bangladesh. Principle of NITER Prof. Dr. A.K.M Faridul Azad (In-Charge) has congratulated the students for their achievement.

Wuhan Textile University Founded in 1958, is a public higher education institution located in the large metropolis of Wuhan. WTU has 21 schools, offering 64 undergraduate programs, 49 graduate programs, and 5 joint PhD programs and have 3 campuses. 

Tiangong University was founded in 1912 and currently has fourteen colleges on two campuses in the city. It is a Chinese Ministry of Education Double First-Class Discipline University, with Double First-Class status in certain disciplines.

One of the faculty members of NITER who is now pursuing his M.Sc in Textile Chemistry & Chemical Engineering from Wuhan Textile University, Mr. Rony Mia said that he talked with the International Education College (IEC) of WTU about the Scholarship facilities for NITER students. The IEC replied that WTU will offer more Scholarships for NITER graduates in future days.

Taosif Ahmed, Admitted in the School of Environmental  Engineering, WTU who has 3 years of job experience in jamuna Denims Limited and Intertek Bangladesh along with that he has 2 Research publication on different International Journal and his IELTS Band score is 6.

Md. Nazmul Hasan Khandoker, Admitted in the School of Fashion, WTU who has 3 years of job experience in Fashion Globe Group.

Prianto Saha, Admitted in the Department of Textile Engineering, TGU who has 1 year of job experience in Hossain Dyeing & Printing Mills Ltd. along with that he has a Research publication on an International Journal and his IELTS Band score is 7.

Anik Das, Admitted in the Department of Textile Science and Engineering, TGU who has 1 year of job experience in Esquire Group along with that he has 2 Research publication on different International Journal. his IELTS Band score is 6 and GRE score is 300.

Md.Mehedi Hasan Apu, Admitted in the School of Textile Science and Engineering, WTU who has 2 years of job experience with BASIS and Hult Foundation. along with that he has 4 conference publication on an International Scientific Conference and has 2 international awards.

Asma Akter, Admitted in the School of Textile Science and Engineering, WTU who has 2 years of job experience with BASIS and Consumer Knitex Ltd. along with that she has 4 conference publication on an International Scientific Conference and has 2 international awards.
