A delegation from Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology (SMUCT) paid a courtesy call on BGMEA President Mahmud Hasan Khan at the BGMEA Complex.
The delegation included Chairman of the Board of Trustees Professor Mostafizul Haque, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Shah-E-Alam and faculty members of the university.
During the meeting, they emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration between academia and industry to support the continued development of Bangladesh’s ready-made garment sector.
The discussion highlighted the need to identify areas for improvement and capacity enhancement, as well as to equip the industry with the knowledge and skills necessary to address emerging challenges.
BGMEA Directors Anwar Hossain Chowdhury and Mohammed Sohel were also present at the meeting.
