SOLshare participated in the thematic session ‘‘Unlocking the Potential of Bangladesh for Investors in Renewable Energy”, organized by the European Union at the Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025. The session focused on the vast potential of Bangladesh’s renewable energy sector, tackling investment challenges, and exploring green financing to power future projects.

The session included a panel discussion, followed by a matchmaking segment designed to connect international investors with government authorities and financial institutions, fostering partnerships for new investments in renewable energy and other sectors.
The matchmaking session offered an engaging networking opportunity where SOLshare, alongside other renewable energy organizations, was introduced. Investors had the chance to experience SOLshare’s business models firsthand and explore potential collaboration opportunities.
A prominent Bangladesh business-owner shared his experience as he visited SOLshare’s table at the matchmaking, “In over a decade, this is the first time I’ve found the right company with the right technology to collaborate with!”
Bangladesh needs $7 billion in investment over the next 6 years to achieve its renewable energy targets.
The Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025 has opened crucial opportunities to bridge this gap and push the country towards its 2041 clean energy goals. As energy demand grows in Bangladesh and the EU market gears towards cleaner and energy-efficient supply chains, networking platforms like this will play a key role in securing the future of green investments.
