The Department of Textile Engineering at Southeast University successfully organized a pivotal event titled “Motivation for Career Development of Textile Graduates” today at the University’s Multipurpose Hall. The event, designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry, attracted significant participation from leading textile and apparel sector companies. The program was structured into two key segments focusing on practical career preparation: CV Shortening & Checking and Industry Requirements. This format provided graduating students with direct insights and actionable feedback crucial for launching their careers. The event commenced with an inaugural address* by Prof. Dr. Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, Honourable Vice-Chancellor of Southeast University, who emphasised the university’s commitment to producing industry-ready graduates and the vast opportunities within Bangladesh’s vital textile sector. Prof. Dr. Engr. ANM Ahmudullah, from the Department of Textile Engineering, delivered an introductory speech, setting the stage for the day’s activities and highlighting the importance of industry-academia collaboration.
