Spinning a global thread: 560+ exhibitors ready for next week’s Yarn Expo Spring 2025

Shanghai, 3 March 2025. Over 560 exhibitors are set to feature at Asia’s leading yarn and fibre trade fair, opening from 11 – 13 March 2025 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai (Hall 8.2). This year’s fair promises to be even more international than the previous Spring Edition, featuring suppliers from 13 countries and regions, including China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Singapore, Taiwan, Türkiye, the UAE, the UK, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam. Featuring eco-friendly cotton yarns, recycled and regenerated fibres, and much more, buyers can explore the full spectrum of yarn and fibre products through dedicated zones and a dynamic fringe programme.

Prior to the fair, Ms Wilmet Shea, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, said: “The upcoming Yarn Expo will feature a diverse selection of products, ensuring that buyers from all sectors can fulfil their sourcing requirements at the show. As we look ahead, it is clear that the trend towards sustainability will continue to shape the industry. With that in mind, we are eager to showcase innovations from a truly international array of exhibitors, highlighting our commitment to a more efficient, greener future and fostering global collaboration in sustainable practices.”

Global showcase of innovative yarns and fibres
On Tuesday, approximately 65 exhibitors from all over the world have seized the opportunity to feature a broad selection of recycled and advanced yarn and fibre products at the International Zone, including:

  • India Pavilion: organised by The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council (TEXPROCIL), the pavilion will highlight an extensive variety of cotton yarn and more, from suppliers such as Acme Yarns Private Limited, Amar International, Prime Yarns and Sri NRKR Textiles Pvt Ltd.
  • Pakistan Zone: multiple Pakistani exhibitors, including Din Industries Ltd and Xiamen Naseem Trade Co Ltd, will display specific blended yarn, sustainable yarn, wool yarns, silk yarn, as well as organic cotton.
  • Taiwan Zone (new): organised by Taiwan Spinners’ Association, suppliers including Neshin Spinning Co Ltd, Tah Lee Textile Co Ltd and Tah Yao Textile Co Ltd will showcase a wide range of yarns such as open-end yarn / open-end cotton yarn / open-end cotton-polyester blended yarn / open-end poly-cotton yarn.

Domestic product zones bolstering the variety of offerings onsite
Joining the International Zone are six other major zones under various product categories. The Linen Yarn Zone, Silk Yarn Zone, and Wool Yarn Zone will integrate technology with fashion and feature an extensive showing of nearly 30 exhibitors, together with:

  • Chemical Fibre Zone: Over 200 chemical fibre companies will collaborate to showcase the strength of the Chinese chemical fibre industry. This area will feature a diverse array of high-performance, multifunctional, and eco-friendly products. These innovations are widely applicable across various fields, including textiles and clothing, national defence, transportation, medical and healthcare, civil engineering, marine engineering, and more, highlighting the innovative potential of Chinese fibre yarns.
  • Cotton Yarn Zone: as part of its commitment to green responsibility, the popular cotton spinning exhibition area has been revitalised through cutting-edge technology and fashion. Over 60 cotton spinning companies, including Jiangsu Dasheng Group, Tongxiang Wanli Textile, and Wuxi No.1 Cotton Mill Textile Group, will feature their yarn product advantages and innovative capabilities.
  • Fancy Yarn Zone: over 90 companies will be unveiling their latest and most fashionable featured yarns in season such as Yulin Yuefang, Sichuan Realhoub, Qingdao Xinwei Textile and more.

Other highlighted exhibitors from different countries and regions include: Cotton Council International (Hong Kong), Grupo Kaybee (Singapore), Haksa Iplik Sanayi AS (Türkiye), PT Embee Plumbon Tekstil (Indonesia), and Purecot Linen Textile LLC (UAE), among others.

Informative fringe events to focus on new yarn and fibre developments
Business exchange at Yarn Expo will once again be supplemented by multiple concurrent events, for yarn and fibre players to learn more about the latest industry innovations, as well as upcoming design trends in Halls 4.2 and 8.2. These include:

  • Tongkun – China Fibres Fashion Trends Show 2025 / 2026
  • White Shark – China Yarns Fashion Trends 2025 / 2026
  • Huafon QIANXI – China Fibres Co-Branding World Special Forum
  • Green Fibres Certification Display Area
  • Textile Industry New Products Release Forum

Yarn Expo Spring is organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd and the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT. The fair will be held alongside Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Spring Edition, Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Spring Edition, CHIC and PH Value, with the resultant synergy allowing exhibitors and buyers to maximise their business opportunities.
