Strengthening Bangladesh’s Apparel Export Prospects in the US & Spain

A detailed sectoral briefing was held for the newly appointed Commercial Counsellors in Los Angeles, USA, and Madrid, Spain, focusing on Bangladesh’s apparel sector, export performance, key challenges, and emerging opportunities in these important markets.

BKMEA President Mohammad Hatem attended the session and urged the Commercial Counsellors to give due attention to resolving payment-related issues faced by exporters in these markets, while also emphasizing the importance of actively exploring and developing new market opportunities.

BKMEA Vice President Mohammad Rashed delivered a comprehensive presentation on the industry’s export landscape, market potential, and priorities for strengthening Bangladesh’s position in the US and Spanish markets.

BKMEA Director Md. Jamal Uddin Miah and Md. Moniruzzaman also attended the session.
