On Saturday, January 18, and Sunday, January 19, Aloki filled with energy as Arka Fashion Week unfolded its final two days under the themes of “Fusion” and “Sustainability.” These days celebrate the harmonious blending of diverse artistic expressions, fashion statements, and eco-conscious practices, envisioning the future of fashion through dynamic creativity and environmental responsibility.

Day 3 – Event Highlights
The purpose of Fushion style is about mixing and matching styles, experimenting with textures and patterns to create visually captivating outfits that authentically reflect one’s multifaceted self. It celebrates individuality, encouraging people to embrace their uniqueness and let their style shine.
- Student Runway: At 2:30 PM, emerging talents took the stage to showcase their groundbreaking designs, celebrating the fresh perspectives of the next generation of fashion visionaries.
- Flash Runway: At 3:30 PM, audiences were treated to a quick burst of bold and creative designs that left an indelible impression.
- GLEE Showcase: At 4:00 PM, the vibrant and dynamic designs of GLEE lit up the runway, embodying the essence of fusion.
- AMIRÁ Spectacle: At 5:30 PM, AMIRÁ graced the stage with elegance and flair, captivating the audience with a breathtaking collection.
- Evening Showstopper: At 7:00 PM, Rahemur Rahman brought his artistic vision to life, blending traditional Bengali block printing with modern menswear. Reflecting on the experience, Rahman shared, “I’m still buzzing. The show was very exciting. It was my first time showing in Bangladesh, it was like a homecoming. The reception so far has been insane, I am enamoured by the love… I’m very fashion-forward, and I think ARKA fashion week has set the precedence for that youthful energy.” This was followed by Amesh’s collection, a stunning exploration of his life experiences in Sri Lanka and London, pushing boundaries through technology, craftsmanship, and innovative silhouettes. Amesh remarked, “I was pleasantly surprised. This is my first time in Bangladesh, and I expected the fashion scene here to be more traditional, but from what I saw, Arka has created a paved path for forward-thinking fashion in Dhaka. Despite the language barrier, our vision was executed exactly as we wanted, and our show was a success.”
