The Bangladesh Denim Expo celebrates the country’s role in shaping the denim scene and explores Bangladesh’s position in the industry of the future. 05th Bangladesh Denim Exop to be scheduled on 08-09th November 2016 at the International convention City Bashundhara, Dhaka. About 5000 visitors from across the world are going to attend the 5th Bangladesh Denim Expo which includes buyers, brand representatives, CEOs, sourcing managers, manufacturers, merchandisers and denim connoisseurs from the US, the UK, Germany, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Turkey, and China have confirmed their presence in the expo through online registrations till 15 September 2016. A total of 4000 visitors from 43 countries visited the earlier edition of Bangladesh Denim Expo held in April this year. A total of 55 exhibitors from 16 countries will exhibit their products of the entire denim supply chain ranging from fabrics to finishes in the edition. Among the exhibitors at least 16 denim fabric manufacturers are attending the edition for the first time.
The theme of the 5th edition of Bangladesh Denim Expo is set ‘Natural Denim’. In line with the core objective of Bangladesh Denim Expo, that is to promote sustainable denim production, the expo in the edition will present natural fabrication, natural manufacturing of jeans and natural washes. Moreover, in the trend zone of the expo natural trend and natural fits of denim will also be displayed.
While explaining the theme, the CEO of Bangladesh Denim Expo Md. Mostafiz Uddin said: “People find in nature peace and love which they also search in fashion.” “Nature and fashion are closely interrelated. Being natural means being friendly, favorite and fashionable”, he added.
Four very resourceful seminars will also held at the expo where international and national experts will discuss about different dynamics of global denim supply chain. Two of the seminars are now ready to be disclosed: one will be about how to choose the right way of denim washing, while the other will focus on the improvement of the unit economics of RMG Manufacturing industry.
The expo will be inaugurated at 11.00am on 8th November and will remain open for the invited-only visitors from 11:00 am to 7:00pm on both days.
