This exceptional score places it as the BEST LEED Building in the World.

Adding to this moment of pride, Tasniah Fabrics Ltd.’s Ready-Made Garments (RMG) Building has also secured its place among the world’s greenest buildings, earning the 2nd best LEED Platinum Certificate globally with an impressive 106 points.
The U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification is the most widely used green building rating system in the world, setting the global benchmark for sustainability, energy efficiency, and environmentally responsible design. Achieving Platinum status under the LEED v4 Operations and Maintenance (EB O+M) category reflects Tasniah Fabrics Ltd.’s unwavering commitment to sustainable practices, operational excellence, and environmental stewardship.


Masco Group, one of the leading knit composite conglomerates in Bangladesh, experienced its inception in 2001. It is presently an integration of several business units of knitting, dyeing, garments, printing, embroidery and washing.

This landmark recognition solidifies Bangladesh’s leadership in the global green building movement, particularly in the textile and apparel sectors. By achieving the highest LEED scores, Tasniah Fabrics Ltd. sets a new global standard for factories aiming for environmental excellence.
Bangladesh has further cemented its position as a global leader in sustainable garment manufacturing, with three more factories earning Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.
With these latest additions, the country now has 243 LEED-certified factories, including 101 with Platinum certification and 128 with Gold certification. Bangladesh also remains home to 66 of the world’s top 100 LEED-certified garment factories, according to the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA).
