TEAACU Sets December 16 for Grand Alumni Reunion 2025

Batch Representative Conference Held in Dhaka; Official Website Launched; Organizing Committees Formed.

The Textile Engineers Alumni Association of City University (TEAACU) has officially announced that its highly anticipated Grand Reunion 2025 will be held on December 16, 2025. The announcement was made during the TEAACU Batch Representative Conference, a milestone gathering held at a prominent hotel in Uttara, Dhaka, attended by representatives from Batch 1 through Batch 48.

The conference was moderated by Engr. Arifuzzaman, Advisor of TEAACU, who facilitated the session with professionalism and strategic insight. Under his leadership, critical planning decisions were made, including the structural roadmap for the upcoming reunion.

A key highlight of the event was the official launch of TEAACU’s digital platform — www.teaacu.com — fully sponsored by S.M. Prosunuzzaman Rizu, CEO of RNT BD Ltd. The website aims to serve as the central hub for alumni engagement, updates, and event coordination.

“This website is not just a technical platform — it is a digital home for every TEAACU member,” said Ahmed Sorowar, Founder President and Advisor of TEAACU. “As we move into a new era, building a knowledge-based community and fostering unity is the only way to overcome the challenges of the next generation of business.”

In a show of ongoing support, Forhad Hossain, Former Secretary of TEAACU and CEO of Pure Chemicals, affirmed his personal and professional commitment to the association’s success, pledging continued collaboration.

One of the most significant outcomes of the conference was the formation of nine organizing sub-committees, each tasked with overseeing different aspects of the reunion — from logistics and hospitality to media, entertainment, and alumni outreach. These committees comprise dedicated alumni volunteers committed to making the event a landmark celebration.

“These teams will be the engine driving the reunion,” said Md. Limon Khan, General Secretary of TEAACU. “Their passion and hard work will ensure that the event reflects the unity and pride that define our alumni community.”

“TEAACU represents a lifelong bond that extends beyond classrooms and campuses,” added President Zohirul Islam Rozen. “We are proud to embark on this journey together and are excited to welcome all alumni to an unforgettable gathering on December 16.”

Adding further significance to the event, a souvenir publication has been officially announced under the supervision of Ahamed Sorowar, with support from core team members Sazzad Hossain and Shohag Sen. The souvenir aims to commemorate TEAACU’s legacy, spotlight alumni success stories, and document the historic reunion.

“This souvenir will be a prestigious and meaningful addition to the reunion,” said Wahidul Alam. “It will preserve memories, achievements, and shared experiences for future generations.”

The event concluded with remarks from Shohag Sen, General Manager of Denim Solution Ltd., who emphasized the importance of alumni participation:

“With formal planning now underway, we encourage all TEAACU members to stay engaged, support the committees, and contribute to making this reunion a historic milestone.”

Several distinguished alumni-led companies have already committed to partnering in the event, including Denim Solutions Ltd., RNT BD Ltd., Pure Chemicals, Dara Technology Ltd., Bhashani Machineries, and Outlook Trims.

Together, they symbolize the strength, spirit, and success of TEAACU.

Together, we are TEAACU — and this is just the beginning.
