Team Group has officially unveiled Episode 2 of its Sustainability Report, marking a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing journey toward responsible growth, strong governance, and deeper integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.

Developed, conceptualised, and designed internally by Team Group, the impact report has been prepared in alignment with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, reflecting the organisation’s commitment to transparent, credible, and data-driven sustainability disclosure.

Speaking at the unveiling, Abdullah Hil Nakib, Deputy Managing Director of Team Group, emphasised that sustainability is no longer optional in today’s business landscape. He noted that it has become a shared responsibility and a core business imperative, essential for long-term resilience, competitiveness, and stakeholder trust.
Mohammad Monower Hossain, Head of Sustainability, highlighted the importance of trust, data integrity, and honest storytelling in sustainability reporting. He showcased key sustainability initiatives undertaken by Team Group, including climate action, water stewardship, lean practices, policy and governance strengthening, and commitments to the UN Global Compact. He also demonstrated a pioneering digital ESG data dashboard, developed internally through collaboration between Team Group’s Sustainability and IT teams, underscoring the company’s focus on digital transformation and robust ESG data governance.

Reaffirming the organisation’s values, Afroza Shahin, Managing Director of Team Group, stated that people and respect for nature remain at the heart of Team Group’s long-term sustainable growth strategy, guiding decision-making and business operations across the group.
From intent to impact, Sustainability Report: Episode 2 captures Team Group’s evolving sustainability journey—driven by purpose, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. The report was officially unveiled in the presence of Team Group management and key stakeholders, including representatives from Swisscontact, Solidaridad Network Asia, BGMEA, Susnex, The ESG Institute Bangladesh, and other partner organisations, reflecting strong multi-stakeholder engagement and shared commitment to sustainable development.
