The Textile Engineers Association of Mirsarai (TEAM) held its Eid Reunion 2023, on 23 April at the Chittagong Textile Engineering College. Many textile engineering students and professionals of textile engineering attended the event. The event is closed with traditional Mejbani Lunch. Almost 100+ Textile Students and professionals from 1996 to 2023 joined the TEAM’s Reunion Mejbani Program.
TEAM is an organization of textile engineers living in Mirsarai, established in 2010. The organization has about two hundred members, most of whom have passed from Textile Engineering Colleges in Mirsarai, Chittagong. TEAM is a bonding hub association for Mirsarai Textile Engineers.
The Eid Reunion 2023 was an opportunity for TEAM members to reconnect with old friends and colleagues and discuss the latest developments in textile engineering. The atmosphere was lively and festive as participants engaged in lively discussions and shared their experiences.
The event’s highlight was the announcement of the new committee of TEAM for the next two years. The committee members include Eng. Dipankur Barua was nominated as President,Engr. Shamol Sharma, who was nominated as Chief Advisor, Engr. Md. Shofiul Alam, who was nominated as General Secretary, Sohel Rana, who was nominated as Senior Vice President, and Engr. Ahsan Nayem Khan was nominated as Organizational Secretary.
Speaking on occasion, Eng. Anik Day, General Manager at Shin Shin Group, Organization Secretary, ATET, expressed his gratitude to the TEAM’s members for their trust in him and assured them that he would do everything in his power to promote the interests of the textile engineering community. He also stressed the importance of collaboration and urged members to work together to achieve common goals.
Eng. Md.Shofiul Alam, the newly nominated General Secretary, also addressed the gathering and emphasized the need for teamwork and dedication to the field of textile engineering. She thanked the organization’s members for their support and promised to work hard to achieve its goals.
The event also featured several speeches and presentations by distinguished members of the textile engineering community. Prominent textile engineers from Top management presented the latest developments in textile engineering. They highlighted the importance of innovation and creativity in the textile industry and urged the participants to strive for excellence in their work.
Engr hosted the whole event. Abdul Mannan Munna spoke about the industry’s challenges and the need for collective action to overcome them. He stressed the importance of collaboration and urged the participants to work together to solve the industry’s challenges.
The event closed with a welcome speech by the outgoing President of TEAM, Eng. Dipankur Barua. He welcomed all the attendees and thanked them for their continued support of the organization. Eng. Dipankur Barua hoped the event would succeed and wished everyone a happy Eid.
