A beautiful evening of unity, reflection, and community spirit unfolded as the Textile Engineering College Noakhali Alumni Association (TECNAA) organized its TECN Alumni Iftar Mehfil 2026, bringing together alumni and students to celebrate the spirit of Ramadan and strengthen their professional and social bonds.

The special gathering took place on March 6, 2026 (Friday) at The Royal Garden Rooftop, where a large number of alumni, students, and well-wishers joined the event. At the same time, another segment of the program was hosted in Chittagong at Sunset Hill Restaurant and Rooftop Café, allowing members from different regions to participate in the celebration.

The event created a warm and welcoming environment where participants shared Iftar together, exchanged memories of their academic days at Textile Engineering College Noakhali, and discussed opportunities to strengthen collaboration within the textile and apparel industry. The gathering highlighted the importance of unity among alumni and the role of professional networks in supporting both career development and industry growth.
Speaking about the initiative, organizers from TECNAA emphasized that the Iftar Mehfil was arranged not only as a religious and social gathering during the holy month of Ramadan but also as a platform to reconnect alumni and encourage collaboration between graduates, current students, and industry partners.
The program was made possible with the support of generous sponsors. International chemical manufacturer Pon Pure Chemicals joined the initiative as a sponsor during this blessed month. With more than four decades of industry experience, Pon Pure Chemicals supplies textile processing, printing, finishing, and water-treatment chemicals and serves various sectors including textiles, pharmaceuticals, paints, and industrial applications across multiple countries, including Bangladesh.
Organizers expressed their sincere gratitude for the company’s support, noting that such partnerships strengthen the bond between the industry and the academic community. Alumni members were also encouraged to support organizations that contribute to community initiatives whenever possible, particularly when professional collaboration opportunities arise.
Another valued sponsor of the event was RBF Sourcing, a Bangladesh-based garment sourcing and buying agency that works closely with international fashion brands, retailers, and local manufacturers. The company plays an important role in connecting global buyers with reliable garment factories in Bangladesh, ensuring efficiency in cost, quality, and lead time.
The support of RBF Sourcing reflected the spirit of giving back to the alumni community. Organizers highlighted that mutual support between alumni and industry partners can help build a strong ecosystem where professional relationships, sourcing opportunities, and industry growth move forward together.
Throughout the evening, participants shared conversations, prayers, and reflections on the values of Ramadan—gratitude, generosity, and unity. The gathering served as a reminder that beyond professional achievements, the TECN alumni community remains bound by shared memories, mutual respect, and a commitment to supporting one another.
The TECN Alumni Iftar Mehfil 2026 concluded with heartfelt appreciation for all attendees, sponsors, and organizers who made the event possible, leaving participants inspired to continue strengthening the TECN alumni network and its contribution to the textile and apparel industry.
