Noakhali, Friday: The campus of Textile Engineering College, Noakhali (TECN) buzzed with energy today as hundreds of students connected with top employers at the Job Fair 2025, presented by She-STEM and organized by the TECN Career Club.

The event opened with A. H. M. Habibur Rahman, Director and CEO of Paramount Textile PLC, as chief guest, setting the stage for a day aimed at accelerating career opportunities in Bangladesh’s largest export sector.
For final-year students and fresh graduates, the fair offered something rare—direct access to hiring managers from three of the country’s leading companies: Fakir Knitwears Ltd, Paramount Textile PLC, and Anwar Group (Textile Division). Attendees handed in CVs, networked with recruiters, and some even secured on-the-spot interviews.
Key HR and industry leaders on the ground included:
Sawfen Huda Sahed, Senior Executive, Strategic HR, Fakir Group
Azimul Alam Arif, Executive, Group HR, Anwar Group
Md. Sohel Rana, Senior AGM, Marketing, Paramount Textile PLC
The event also drew support from the TECN Alumni Association, whose members now hold leadership positions in the industry. Among them were:
Saidul Karim Riaz, Merchandising Manager, Hamim Group
Ataullah Farhan, Manager, Global Kemi Industries Ltd.
Md. Shaheen Khandakar Naeem, Manager, Washing Plant, Fakir Fashion Ltd.
Tamim Parvez, Assistant Manager, Pan Pure Chemicals Bangladesh
Chaired by TECN Principal Engineer Mohammad Abdur Rokib, the fair went beyond simple recruitment. It was designed as a talent pipeline, bridging classrooms and boardrooms. Organizers say the aim is to empower students with internships, job placements, and real-world insights, while helping employers tap into fresh talent.
Backing came from a strong lineup of partners:
