TES Hosts Orientation for NITER 15th Batch and Next Gen Season-1 Award

Textile Engineers Society (TES) hosted the NITER 15 Batch orientation programme and NITER NEXT-GEN prize-giving ceremony on 20 November at NITER Savar, Dhaka, attracting an impressive turnout of students, teachers, and industry leaders.

The event was graced by honourable guests, Md. Rifatur Rahman Miazee, Founder and CEO of the Textile Engineers Society; Md. Tanvir Hossain Sarker, Chief Marketing Officer at TES; Emdadul Haq, Assistant Professor, Department of Textile Engineering at NITER; and Satu Saha, Lecturer in the same department. They shared their experiences and offered guidance to the newly enrolled students.


During this session, TES leaders and educators delivered guidelines and motivational speeches focused on personal growth, career development, leadership development, and discipline. TES leaders & educators describe how TES has been playing a significant role in enhancing students’ skills in Networking, Communication, event management, team leadership and creative thinking.


The ceremony also celebrated the successful completion of NITER Next Gen Season 1, a competition aimed to unlock freshers’ creativity, teamwork and presentation skills.

As Best Coordinator, Md. Abdur Rahman Siam (Assistant Designer, TES Creative Department) received a special award for his dedication and outstanding work on behalf of his team. 

The event also featured an exciting quiz segment, where freshers participated enthusiastically and were awarded for their impressive performances. The high turnout and energetic involvement made the ceremony even more remarkable. The orientation and prize-giving ceremony marked a good start for the TES NITER 15 Batch with inspirational speeches, warm hospitality, and enthusiastic participation. The program encouraged students to develop, explore opportunities, and become future leaders through TES initiatives.
