To showcase the creativity and photographic talents of textile engineering students, TECN Art & Photographic Society is organizing the much-anticipated creative competition “TexFrame.” The competition is being presented by Ratex Blue, with a total prize pool of Tk 6,000 for the winners.

The competition features two categories—Art and Mobile Photography. Current students from 10 textile engineering colleges across Bangladesh can participate. There is no registration fee for the competition.
Winners in each category will receive prizes and certificates. The 1st-place winner will receive Tk 1,500 and a certificate, the 2nd-place winner will receive Tk 1,000 and a certificate, while the 3rd-place winner will receive Tk 500 and a certificate.
According to the competition guidelines, each participant can submit a maximum of three photographs and three artworks. In the Mobile Photography category, only photographs taken with a mobile phone will be accepted. Photos taken with DSLRs or other dedicated cameras will not be eligible. AI-generated images are also strictly prohibited.
Participants are required to like the Facebook pages of TECN Art & Photographic Society and Ratex Blue, join the official group, and post their work there. Each post must include an appropriate caption, the location where the photograph was taken, and the designated hashtag #RatexBlue_TexFrame. Participants must also comment with their name, campus name, batch number, device/photo information, and a screenshot showing the capture time.
For the Art category, participants must also submit a video showing the creation process of their artwork in the comments as proof of originality. Anyone found submitting another person’s work under their own name will be immediately disqualified from the competition.
The main competition activities will run from August 20 to September 20. Submitted photographs and artworks will be evaluated by the judges, while the number of reactions will also be taken into consideration. The date of the exhibition will be announced after September 20.
As a unique platform for young textile students to showcase their creativity, artistic expression, and photography skills, “TexFrame” has already generated considerable interest among students. The organizers expect active participation from students of textile colleges across the country, making the competition a vibrant and successful initiative.
