Textile Engineering Department of Primeasia University recently obtained the Accreditation from the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) under the dynamic leadership of current Vice-Chancellor (acting) Prof. Dr. Engr. Md. Humaun Kabir. This accreditation will be available for next 3 years and all the graduated Textile Engineers of Primeasia university will be able to be members of IEB by fulfilling certain norms of the IEB.
On 30th January 2021, The Textile Engineering Division of IEB arranged a Felicitation Program for Primeasia University to celebrate the achievement at the IEB Council Hall. Eng. Md. Shahadat Hossain Shiblu, PEng, Honorary General Secretary, IEB was present as a Chief Guest. Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan, Pro VC, BUFT and Prof. Dr. Engr. Md. Humaun Kabir, VC (Acting), Primeasia University were present as Special Guests. The Ceremony was presided by Engr. Md. Masudur Rahman, Chairman Textile Engineering Division, IEB and conducted by Engr. Syed Atiqur Rahman, Secretary, Textile Engineering Division, IEB. Vote of Thanks was provided by Engr. Md. Ashad Hossain, Vice Chairman, TED. All the Faculty of Textile Engineering Department, Primeasia University and the Alumni of Primeasia University Textile Engineering Department were also present at the event.
