Textile Genesis Organizes Exclusive Supplier Workshop in Dhaka

Textile Genesis has organized an exclusive supplier workshop in Dhaka to gather insights from supply chain partners and better understand the usability of its digital platform.

The workshop brought together a diverse group of suppliers, including traders and manufacturers working with both sustainable and conventional materials. The session provided suppliers with an opportunity to share their experiences, challenges and suggestions regarding the Textile Genesis platform.

Speaking at the event, Shahana Kiron, Regional Lead at Textile Genesis, emphasized the importance of supplier engagement in the continuous improvement of the platform. She noted that supply chain members are an important source of ideas and feedback, while the company remains committed to working closely with suppliers to identify and resolve their challenges.

The workshop also demonstrated Textile Genesis’ growing focus on direct engagement with suppliers and other supply chain stakeholders.

During the session, Afroza Akter Shimu, Customer Success Manager at Textile Genesis, conducted a practical walkthrough of the platform. She demonstrated key features and shared useful tips to help suppliers navigate the platform more effectively and address common challenges.

Suppliers also highlighted the value of face-to-face engagement. According to participants, suppliers had repeatedly requested an in-person workshop to facilitate greater interaction and discussion with Textile Genesis and other supply chain members.

The workshop concluded with a photo session and an exchange of appreciation among the organizers and participants, marking the event as an important step toward strengthening collaboration between Textile Genesis and its supplier community.
