The Textile Engineers Society (TES) successfully concluded Textile Youth Carnival 2.6 at the Bangladesh Film Archive, Agargaon. The event served as a landmark platform for bridging the gap between aspiring textile engineers and seasoned industry stalwarts, fostering a culture of innovation and professional excellence.

The carnival featured a prestigious lineup of guests, including Mahmud Hasan Khan President of BGMEA, as the Chief Guest, Dr. Rashid Ahamed Hossaini, Director of BGMEA and Managing Director of Nexus Group, as the Guest of Honor, Engr. Md. Shahmij Bokul, Managing Director of BA Fashionwear Ltd. and Beaumonde Tex Ltd, as the Honourable Guest.
Technical sessions formed the core of the event, offering students critical perspectives on the evolving global market
Dr. Engr. Md. Fazle Elahi, Head of R&D at DBL Group, underscored that the future of the textile industry relies heavily on research and technological integration. He urged students to embrace a research-oriented mindset and prioritize sustainable manufacturing practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Md. Ilias Farhad Prince, Managing Director of PM Sourcing (Pvt.) Ltd, shared the roadmap for long-term career success. He highlighted that honesty, professional integrity, a habit of continuous learning, and robust networking are essential for navigating the rapidly changing global business landscape. Those who adapt and upgrade their skills in line with industrial changes will lead the industry tomorrow, he remarked.
