Texworld Paris returns for 59th edition

Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris will return to the Paris-Le Bourget Exhibition Center from August 31 to September 2, 2026, bringing together key international players from across the textile and apparel sectors.

Positioned as a strategic sourcing platform for fashion professionals, the event will host nearly 1,200 exhibitors across two core segments. Texworld will focus on fabrics and raw materials, while Apparel Sourcing will showcase finished products and accessories. Both segments will emphasise mid-range and premium offerings, reflecting increasing buyer demand for quality and added value. The Avantex sector will complement the exhibition, highlighting innovation and solutions for high-performance and responsible fashion.

The 59th edition maintains a consistent layout designed to enhance visitor experience. Halls 3 and 4 will house the main exhibition areas, organised by expertise and end use, while Hall 2 will accommodate Avantex exhibitors, trend forums, conferences and service spaces. Greater integration between Texworld and Apparel Sourcing exhibitors aims to streamline visitor flow, with particular attention given to womenswear, casualwear and sportswear categories.

Texworld continues to serve as a benchmark for global textile sourcing, with strong participation from established manufacturing countries including China, Turkey, India and Korea. The 2026 edition also reflects a growing interest in emerging sourcing regions and an overall elevation in product quality. Notably, French manufacturer La Lainière de Picardie will participate for the first time, showcasing high-end wool linings and highlighting European expertise in sustainable and innovative textile production. A dedicated ECO-HUB will also feature around thirty exhibitors from China’s Zhejiang province, all committed to fully sustainable manufacturing practices, signalling a broader shift towards transparency and responsible sourcing.

Following strong momentum in 2025, Apparel Sourcing continues to expand, with increased participation from countries such as Mongolia, Pakistan and Taiwan. New dedicated areas for leather and jewellery will improve visibility for these specialised sectors. In addition, an Outdoor zone will connect Texworld and Apparel Sourcing, bringing together technical fabric producers and sportswear manufacturers to address the needs of the growing performance and activewear market. The newly introduced Apparel Sourcing Initiatives area will further highlight advanced manufacturing capabilities, flexibility and premium services among selected exhibitors.

Avantex will once again act as an innovation hub, presenting technological advancements and sustainable initiatives shaping the future of fashion. A programme of conferences, workshops and professional networking opportunities will support industry dialogue during a period of significant transformation. Messe Frankfurt continues to emphasise its commitment to fostering a more responsible, transparent and competitive global textile industry, exemplified by initiatives such as the Texworld ECO-HUB.

Applications are now open for the ninth edition of the Avantex Fashion Pitch, taking place on August 31, 2026. The competition will showcase forward-thinking solutions from innovators across fashion, technology and finance. Finalists will present their projects to an international jury, with a new public voting element introduced via social media to increase engagement and visibility.

Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris remains part of a wider portfolio of trade fairs organised by Messe Frankfurt France, bringing together key industry events in a single location with free entry for registered professionals.
