BGMEA Director, Barrister Shehrin Salam Oishee attended as a Panel Speaker at the National Policy Advocacy Event, titled “The Reintegration of Human Trafficking Survivors through Sustainable Initiatives and CSR Agenda of Private Sector.” It is an Ashshash Project, supported by the Embassy of Switzerland in Bangladesh and implemented by the Winrock International and CSR Centre.

She had pinpointed the crucial gaps that need to be bridged in order to reintegrate the victims of trafficking and how as a member of the Apex trade body, the RMG sector could strongly assist in ensuring secured jobs for them besides contributing to their rehabilitation program as well.

Also present were AKM Mokhlesur Rahman, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs; Ms Suzzanne Mueler, Deputy Head of Mission and Director of Cooperation, Embassy of Switzerland in Bangladesh; Dr A. A. MD. Mohiuddin Osmani, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Women and Children Affairs; and likes.
