Trützschler Strengthens Partnership with Bangladesh’s Spinners Through Technology-Focused Customer Event

Under the theme “Together for Better Performance – Advancing 2026,” Trützschler, in collaboration with its local partner EURO GROUP, hosted an exclusive customer event in Dhaka, bringing together leading spinning mill owners, technical professionals, and industry experts. The evening served as a platform for exchanging ideas, introducing the latest innovations in spinning preparation and card clothing, and discussing how technology and service can help mills improve efficiency, productivity, and yarn quality in an increasingly competitive textile market.

Delivering the keynote address, Mr. A.S.M. Haider, Managing Director of Euro Group, highlighted Bangladesh’s remarkable journey as one of the world’s leading textile manufacturing hubs. He stressed that sustaining this growth requires continuous investment in advanced technologies, skilled professionals, and long-term partnerships. He reaffirmed Euro Group’s commitment to connecting Bangladeshi manufacturers with world-class textile technologies and technical support through its partnership with Trützschler.

Introducing the latest developments from Trützschler Card Clothing, Mr. Thomas Streicher explained how card clothing plays a vital role in determining fiber control, sliver quality, productivity, and overall spinning performance. He presented Trützschler’s latest solutions designed to optimize fiber processing while ensuring greater durability, process stability, and consistent yarn quality. He emphasized that selecting the right card clothing is not merely a maintenance decision but a strategic investment for enhancing mill performance.

The session “Performance Starts with Service” was jointly presented by Mr. Marcel Peinelt of Trützschler Spinning and Mr. Bulbul Hasan of EURO GROUP. They emphasized that high machine performance depends not only on advanced equipment but also on comprehensive after-sales service, preventive maintenance, timely availability of spare parts, and continuous technical support. They highlighted how proactive service strategies can reduce downtime, improve operational efficiency, and maximize return on investment for spinning mills.

The second half of the event focused on the latest technological innovations shaping the future of spinning preparation.

Presenting “Current Wire Innovations,” Mr. Konrad Beeck introduced the newest developments in metallic wire technology for carding applications. He explained how continuous innovation in wire design enhances fiber opening, improves cleaning efficiency, extends service life, and supports higher production speeds without compromising yarn quality.

In the subsequent session, Mr. Eugen Koch unveiled STEELTOP, Trützschler’s latest card clothing innovation. He demonstrated how the new technology delivers improved wear resistance, stable performance, and longer operating life, enabling mills to maintain consistent production quality while reducing maintenance frequency and operational costs.

Looking toward the future, Mr. Gerold Gonska delivered a forward-looking presentation titled “Spinning Preparation – Future Perspectives.” He discussed the growing role of automation, digitalization, intelligent monitoring systems, and sustainable production technologies in modern spinning operations. He noted that future competitiveness will depend on mills’ ability to integrate smart manufacturing solutions that improve efficiency while reducing energy consumption and resource waste.

One of the highlights of the evening was an engaging panel discussion, moderated by Engr. A.S.M. Haider, Chairman and Managing Director of EURO GROUP Bangladesh. The discussion featured an experienced panel comprising Mr. Khorshed Alam, Executive Director of Badsha Textiles Ltd.; Dr. Engr. Md. Mominul Motin (Tushar), Executive Director of Mondol Spinning Mills Ltd.; and Mr. Pandiarajan, Advisor – Spinning, NR Group. The panelists shared their perspectives on the current challenges and future opportunities within Bangladesh’s spinning industry, discussing topics such as rising production costs, evolving customer expectations, sustainability, technological advancement, and operational efficiency. They emphasized that maintaining global competitiveness will require continuous investment in innovation, skilled human resources, digitalization, and close collaboration between textile manufacturers and technology providers. The discussion offered valuable practical insights from both mill operators and technology experts, making it one of the most interactive and informative sessions of the event.

The interactive Q&A session enabled participants to engage directly with Trützschler’s international specialists, discussing technical challenges, maintenance practices, productivity improvements, and practical solutions to optimize spinning operations. The evening concluded with closing remarks and an invitation to dinner, providing further opportunities for networking and informal discussions among industry leaders, customers, and technology experts.
