Tukatech, Inc. Appoints Nitish Varshney as Director – Digital Manufacturing Initiatives for Global Programs

Tukatech, Inc., a leading apparel technology solutions provider, has announced the appointment of Nitish Varshney as Director – Digital Manufacturing Initiatives for Global Programs.

In this role, he will lead the company’s global programs to accelerate digitalisation, drive technology adoption, and enable measurable process optimisation across apparel manufacturing ecosystems.

Welcoming the appointment, Ram Sareen, Founder and CEO, Tukatech, Inc., said, “Like several members of our leadership team, Nitish began his professional journey as a Mechanical Engineer – trained to think in systems, efficiency, and measurable performance outcomes. Over the past nine years, he has built extensive experience within the apparel and fashion ecosystem, working closely with manufacturers, technology providers, and industry leaders across global markets.”

Varshney brings deep exposure to global manufacturing ecosystems, having collaborated closely with factory owners, brands, and technology innovators. His on-the-ground engagement with production units and active participation in industry conferences and thought-leadership forums have equipped him with a practical understanding of real manufacturing challenges.

At Tukatech, his mandate is to drive structured Digital Manufacturing Initiatives that create visible, measurable impact – from product development and pattern engineering to the cutting room, sewing floor, and integrated production workflows. As the industry transitions toward Smart Factory environments, connected systems, and engineering-led implementation, the company believes leadership must be rooted in strong manufacturing fundamentals.

“We are excited to have him help expand our global digital manufacturing programs and further strengthen Tukatech’s role in engineering-driven transformation,” said Umesh Gaur, Managing Director (International), Tukatech, Inc.

Before joining Tukatech, Varshney spent over nine years at Apparel Resources, most recently serving as Assistant Editor (Technical), where he analyzed manufacturing technologies, supply chain evolution, sustainability practices, and digital transformation trends across the apparel sector. Earlier, he worked as a Senior E-Commerce Analyst at POUR FEMME, building online retail growth strategies and performance frameworks, and began his career as an Executive Engineer at JBM Group.

With experience spanning engineering, analytics, digital commerce, and technical industry media, Varshney brings a cross-functional perspective on manufacturing innovation and industry modernization.

“It’s a privilege to be part of Tukatech, Inc. and to contribute to the vision of structured, engineering-led digital manufacturing initiatives,” said Nitish Varshney.
