Twelve Clothing Presents BUFT National Cultural Fest 2026 Held

Twelve Clothing Presents BUFT National Cultural Fest 2026 was held on 4 January 2026, organized by the Cultural Club of BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT). The day-long festival served as a vibrant platform showcasing youth creativity, inter-university cultural exchange, and campus culture. One of the main highlights of the event was the Inter-University Cultural Competition, featuring participation from 12 selected universities across the country. In the competition, a total of 18 awards were given across six categories: music, dance, drama, fine arts, creative writing, and recitation. The champions were: Music- AIUB; Dance- Jessore University of Science and Technology; Drama- University of Dhaka; Fine Arts- Shanto Mariam University; Creative Writing- University of Dhaka; and Recitation- AIUB.

A variety of performances took place at the university’s open stage under the club’s arrangement, including music, drama, poetry, creative writing, fine arts, and hip-hop. Special attractions of the fest included a fashion runway show, various stalls, and flash mobs, reflecting BUFT’s identity in fashion and creativity. The audience was further energized by a live performance by the popular band ‘Highway’. At the closing and prize-giving ceremony, the Chief Guest was Mr. Faruque Hassan, Chairman of the University Board of Trustees. Special Guests included Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan, Acting Vice-Chancellor of BUFT, and popular film actor Shatabdi Wadud. The event was sponsored by Sayor Restaurant, Essential Buy Sell, and Doel OTT. Partners included Mbrella, Styleway BD, Focus Cam, and Promises Medical Limited.
