Bangladesh-based one of the largest apparel exporters Team Group its two garment factories recently received recognition from the RMG Sustainability Council (RSC) as compliant and safe production facilities. The factories have been provided with Letters of Recognition (LoRs) after correcting the non-compliance faults identified during the initial inspections of the council formed by the buyers to monitor workplace safety in RMG establishments.
According to the company’s statement, it is happily announced that a Letter of Recognition from the RSC (RMG Sustainability Council) was recently received by their two factories. The letters were received from the MD of RSC by Md Abul Kalam Azad, Head of Engineering, and Khandker M Imam, Head of HR, Admin & Compliance (4A), on behalf of Team Group.
The RSC was set up by three incorporating members representing each of the three constituents from the industry, global fashion brands and global and local trade unions. TEAM Group owns and runs five RMG factories, including 4A Yarn Dyeing Ltd., a LEED Platinum-certified factory & Brothers Fashion Ltd, a LEED GOLD Certified factory.
