TWO NEW LICENSES WITH WESTERN EUROPEAN FIRMS HAVE BEEN SIGNED BY COTTON USA

cottonTwo Western European companies, I Cotoni di Albini and Bugatti, have signed new licensees with Cotton USA. Those licenses cover the equivalent of US cotton 2.088 bales. I Cotoni di Albini, an Albini group company, specializes in high-end yarn production. I Cotoni di Albini can deliver 100 per cent traceable US cotton thanks to its collaboration with Cotton USA, Supima, and Oritain. Founded in Italy in 1876, the goal of the Albini community is to produce the world’s finest fabrics.

Bugatti, a German mid-market men’s, and a female brand is approved for a line of American cotton-rich men’s trousers. The company was founded in 1947, and employs more than 1,000 people in Germany. The company generated sales worth $250 million in 2019 and a 44 per cent share of exports. The primary export for the company is to Italy, Austria, the Netherlands and Russia. In Germany, Bugatti has 327 points of sale, and its export markets have 600.
