As per OTEXA, the U.S. recorded a decline in apparel imports in January 2026. The value of imports fell from $7.19 billion in January 2025 to $6.22 billion in January 2026, a decrease of 13.51% compared with the same period of the previous year. In terms of volume, U.S. apparel imports dropped by 17.09% (in SME), while the average unit price increased by 4.31% over the same period.

Imports from Bangladesh decrease to $791.77 million from $798.99 million, representing decline of -0.90% compared to January 2025.
