September store sales including online sales decreased by 3.4 percent year on year at Uniqlo Japan, a part of the Fast Retailing Group. Sales at the company’s directly run stores decreased by 3.9 percent. Directly run stores sales including online sales decreased by 2.5 percent.
The company said, same-store sales declined in September with unusually warm weather throughout the month resulting in a weak launch of fall winter ranges. The company opened three stores and closed one during the month under review.
