Urmi Group is honored “Outstanding Contribution” to the Marks & Start Project

Urmi Group is honored to have been recognized for their “Outstanding Contribution” to the Marks & Start Project (2023–24).” to the Marks & Start Project (2023–24).

The award was presented by Shwapna Bhowmick (Regional Head, Marks & Spencer) and received by our Director, Ms. Shamarukh Fakhruddin, on behalf of the Group.

Since joining the program, Urmi Group has been a dedicated partner in fostering an equitable workplace, successfully integrating 300+ people with physical disabilities into our workforce.

This flagship initiative, driven by the visionary leadership of Valerie Taylor and the Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP), has transformed over 4,300 lives across the M&S supply base through skill development and sustainable employment.

This recognition reflects our core commitment to inclusive growth and people development. We thank our partners and our entire team for their relentless support in making a meaningful social impact.
