HARKOM Setabganj Limited proudly announces the launch of its newest sustainability milestone: the development of a state-of-the-art green building campus located at T&T Road, Setabganj 5216, Dinajpur. The project is being implemented under the LEED BD+C v4 certification framework by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), reflecting HARKOM’s deep commitment to innovation, sustainability, and social empowerment. The signing ceremony marked a significant step forward in HARKOM’s mission to champion environmental responsibility while creating meaningful employment opportunities for women in rural Bangladesh.

Founded in 2018, HARKOM Setabganj Limited was established with the vision to empower rural women and reduce poverty through sustainable employment. The company has built its operations on principles of fair trade, gender equity, and ethical practices, ensuring safe working conditions, zero tolerance for child or forced labor, and a dedication to social and economic well-being. Over the years, HARKOM has become a pioneer in manufacturing versatile jute handicrafts, using Bangladesh’s “Golden Fiber” as its primary raw material. Today, its 41,600 sq. ft. facility combines cutting-edge technology with a local, skilled workforce to deliver high-quality, eco-friendly products while minimizing environmental impact.
The green building campus is designed to integrate sustainability principles across every phase of its development. HARKOM’s vision is to maximize energy, water, and resource efficiency while creating a healthy and inspiring workplace. The facility will adopt eco-conscious operational practices, enhance the environmental appeal of its surroundings, and comply with global benchmarks as well as local regulations. With these commitments, HARKOM aims to achieve a prestigious USGBC LEED Certification, targeting Platinum or Gold level.
Guiding this landmark initiative is 360 Total Solution Limited (360 TSL), led by Principal Consultant Ananta Ahmed.
