At the forefront of this initiative is the Uztekstilprom Association, which officially announced the hosting rights during the Annual Conference of the ITMF and Textile Week in Keqiao on November 6, 2023. The decision was further solidified on October 25, 2023, at the IAF Fashion Convention in Philadelphia, USA, where it was disclosed that Samarkand would also be the venue for the next IAF conference.

The significance of this conference lies in its ability to unite leaders from more than 500 international organizations, textile companies, brands and retailers, along with representatives from financial institutions spanning Europe, the CIS, Asia, Africa and America. This assembly marks a historic occasion, fostering collaboration and discussion on pivotal issues shaping the future of the global textile industry.
