From 21 to 24 April 2026, the Vandewiele Group will showcase its latest technologies for technical textiles at Techtextil 2026 in Frankfurt (Hall 12.0, Stand C21).

As a global leader in textile machinery, Vandewiele unites specialized brands to support the evolving demands of high-performance textile applications. Visitors will discover solutions in laboratory testing, yarn joining, yarn feeding, and thread tension monitoring, designed to create measurable value across the textile value chain.

Bringing together brands such as MESDAN, IRO, MEMMINGER-IRO and PROTECHNA, the Group stands for technological leadership, innovation and strong customer partnerships.
TEXTILE INNOVATIONS TOGETHER reflects our commitment to shaping the future of the textile industry – side by side with our customers.
COMPLETE LAB SOLUTIONS
For the analysis of synthetic and manmade fibers, technical yarns and ropes, composites, performance and technical fabrics, personal protective equipment, plastic straps, nonwovens, geotextiles, etc.
JOINING DEVICES
For regular and technical yarns, industrial and sewing threads, carpet yarns, high tenacity rovings, made of carbon or fiberglass, polyester, nylon or aramid, for the reinforcement of fibers used in different industries, like automotive components, build- ing construction, wind energy blades, sport equipment, fire extinguishing pipes, optical fibers, air bags, bullet proof jackets, etc.
Among those many solutions, MESDAN will be exhibiting the new double column universal tensile strength tester, TENSOLAB 50kN, code 2515E, with a series of accessories for the different applications and material testing, and a combination of two splicers installed on a moveable trolley: Jointair 116K/G for rovings of glass and carbon fiber up to 5000Tex and Jointair 124 for Kevlar/aramid threads for the highest splice strength.
MEMMINGER-IRO supplies the leading yarn feeding technolo- gy to feed carbon, copper, wire, monofilament, polyamide, and other sophisticated yarns to all kinds of knitting machines for the production of technical textiles. The corresponding products such like storage feeders, electronic feeders and unspooling device MTD will be exhibited during Techtextil in Frankfurt.

Building upon the well-established design of the X4 generation, the XD X4 has been developed to accommodate the diverse and evolving requirements of yarn fibers. Leveraging decades of expertise in yarn feeding, this advance-ment represents the ongoing evolution of the XD series weft feeders, strategically designed to address the forthcoming challenges faced by our customers. The integrated ATC-W system consistently maintains optimal yarn tension throughout the entire weaving cycle, enabling superior performance and enhanced product quality across a wide range of textile applications.
The X4 Weft Feeders, featuring an integrated accessory display, establish a new benchmark in feeder technology. Current settings and any alarms can be conveniently monitored through the integrated display, with adjustments easily made via the control knob.
The TENSOSCAN 2 5374 performs continuous automatic monitoring of the tension of each individual thread of a yarn sheet. A measuring head travels across the entire width of the yarn sheet, measuring the tension of the threads at a speed of 2 metres per minute. Thanks to the wireless design and the universal measuring sensor, which is suitable for all yarn types, with TENSO- SCAN 2 you can move the measuring carriage from one Warping machine to another for the very first time. This is advantageous if the thread tension is to be measured only when the machine is started up or if the measuring carriage is to remain on the same Warping machine only for a limited period of time.
- Reliable monitoring of the tension of each thread of a yarn sheet
- Fast and reliable detection of threads with tension that is outside the pre-set limits
- Wireless design – one measuring carriage can be used on several Warping machines
