The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (ICHAM), under the patronage of the Embassy of Italy, hosted the conference “Italian Spinning Mills – Excellence, Innovation & Business Opportunities” at Casa Italia. The event brought together leading Italian spinning manufacturers — Edoardo Miroglio, Filmar, and Zegna Baruffa — along with key Vietnamese industry stakeholders for a day of discussion and networking.

Representing the Vietnam Cotton and Spinning Association (VCOSA), Chairman Mr. Nguyen An Toan delivered a keynote speech emphasizing the growing importance of cooperation between Vietnam and Italy. He highlighted that as Vietnam’s textile sector moves toward green production, technological innovation, and higher value-added products, partnerships with Italy will deliver substantial benefits. By combining Italy’s premium yarns with Vietnam’s large-scale, flexible production capacity, both countries can contribute to a more sustainable and competitive textile value chain.

The conference also reflected on significant milestones in bilateral cooperation, including the establishment of the Italy–Vietnam Textile Technology Center (2017) and the FABRICA Exhibition (2024), which laid a strong foundation for continued collaboration.

🤝 The B2B networking sessions provided Vietnamese enterprises with direct access to trusted Italian partners, opening new opportunities for long-term collaboration in yarn innovation, sustainable materials, and integration into the global textile supply chain.
