Vietnam fashion brands and retail shops are turning to sell protective suits and other anti-pandemic items, hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Local fashion brand Ivy Moda sells both white and blue protective suits for adults and kids. Each of the one-time-use items is priced at VND80,000 (children) and VND100,000 (adult). The design company also produces face masks.
Clothing 10 Corporation Joint Stock Company, one of Viet Nam’s biggest clothing companies is selling white and light pink security suits. The company has begun fabricating face masks earlier.
Similarly, Format fashion company, which manufactures women’s clothing and accessories, also announced that it will begin selling face masks and ostensibly protective headwear.Each set of three masks printed with the national flag with the words ‘Tự hào Việt Nam’ (proud of Việt Nam) costs VND63,000 while the protective headwear costs VND45,000.
