A significant milestone in regional apparel collaboration was marked today with the signing of a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Vision Group, one of Bangladesh’s leading garment manufacturers and exporters, and Shahi Exports Pvt. Ltd., a globally renowned apparel company based in India. The agreement, valued at an annual contract of USD 30 million, reflects the growing synergy between the apparel industries of Bangladesh and India.

With annual revenues exceeding USD 100 million, Vision Group has established itself as a prominent player in Bangladesh’s ready-made garments (RMG) sector through its commitment to quality manufacturing, compliance, and global export excellence. Over the years, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality products to international markets while maintaining global standards.
The collaboration with Shahi Exports Pvt. Ltd. is expected to unlock new opportunities for business expansion and strengthen cross-border supply chain integration. As one of India’s leading apparel exporters, Shahi brings extensive global experience, and this partnership is anticipated to enhance sourcing efficiency and production capabilities for both organizations.

Representatives from both companies described the MoU as a strategic step toward strengthening cross-border cooperation in the textile and apparel sector. They expressed confidence that the partnership will not only boost operational capacity but also pave the way for long-term growth and deeper engagement in international markets.
The agreement was formally signed by AHA Gaffar, Director of Vision Group, and Poorana Seenivasan, CEO of Shahi Exports Pvt. Ltd. The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. AKM Hamid, Managing Director of Vision Group; ASM Mahfuz, Chairman of Vision Group; Labib Mahfuz, Executive Director of Vision Group; Samira Hamid, Executive Director of Vision Group; and Rohit Sharma, Country Manager (Bangladesh) of Shahi Exports Pvt. Ltd., underscoring the importance of this partnership for both organizations and the broader regional apparel industry.
